A geotextile siltsack sediment filter is suspended inside a concrete catch basin inlet below a standard metal drainage grate. The siltsack includes a one-inch rebar threaded through the top hem for bag removal and handling, with a three-foot depth dimension. Expansion restraints using one-quarter-inch nylon rope and two-inch by two-inch by three-quarter-inch rubber blocks secure the internal configuration. The concrete drainage structure measures four feet by two feet, connecting to an outlet pipe. Operating flow rates are noted as forty gallons per minute per square foot for regular flow and two hundred gallons per minute per square foot for high flow.
