An interior partition head connects directly to the underside of an existing concrete-filled metal deck. A four-inch by two-inch by sixteen-gauge steel angle provides the head track and secures to the deck overhead. Fastening consists of four number ten screws at each end, spaced typically at four inches. A one-inch minimum clearance is maintained at the partition edge.
