The roof drain assembly is installed over dens glass roof sheathing with tapered rigid insulation or equal at the drain sump maintaining a slope of less than three inches to one horizontal foot. A reinforced membrane waterproofing layer extends over the rigid insulation and terminates at the drain body. Sealant is applied at the drain flange connection per the manufacturer instructions.
