A two-hour fire-rated glazing assembly is supported by a structural hollow structural section anchored from above. The structural support is wrapped in a two-hour rated gypsum board soffit, isolated with sealant and backer rod at the joint. A two and one-half inch mullion frame connects beneath with shims for alignment, containing spacers and mullion cover caps. The glass assembly is secured within the framing profile.
