A weld-o-let is welded directly to the main process pipe to create a branch connection. A ball or plug valve mounts to the weld-o-let to allow flow isolation for instrumentation. An optional diaphragm seal assembly is positioned below the instrumentation fitting. A pressure gauge, switch, or transmitter connects directly to the top of the valve assembly.
