Precast concrete wheel stops are anchored to the paving sub-grade using five-eighths inch or three-quarter inch reinforcing rebar dowels. The steel bars sit flush with the top of the concrete and extend eighteen inches into the sub-grade. Wheel stops are detailed for standard parking stalls at lengths of six feet and nine feet, featuring beveled top edges with specified minimum and maximum dimensions. The precast units measure five to six inches in height with a four to five inch top width.
