An HSS 3x3x1/8 structural steel tube framing member connects to a column web centered on the web alignment. The connection is made using L6x4x3/8 angles measuring zero feet eight inches long at the top and bottom, welded with one-quarter inch typical fillet welds. The HSS framing occurs in four places spaced along the height per plan. A beam sized per plan ties into the assembly near the base joint.
