This assembly consists of a C8 channel paired with C4 channels and anchored using three-quarter-inch diameter anchor bolts spaced at twelve inches on center. A C12 channel connects at the end with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. At the opposite end, a three-eighths-inch thick stiffener plate is welded all around with a three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld. An optional note permits the use of epoxy anchors in lieu of cast anchor bolts at the contractor's option.
