An acoustic partition wall intersects a ceiling and adjacent wall assembly constructed with cold-formed metal studs and gypsum board facing layers. Cavities are filled with acoustic blanket insulation to meet sound attenuation requirements in specific rooms. Gypsum board is fastened to both sides of the framing members to complete the partition boundary.
