Continuous two-by-four wood blocking is surface-mounted to partition studs at heights of 7 feet 1 and 3/4 inches and 9 feet 7 and 3/4 inches. Gypsum board is installed above the blocking starting at a height of 9 feet 9 and 1/2 inches. The general contractor provides all wood blocking as detailed.
