A horizontal joint assembly connects metal panel MP1 and a one-half inch aluminum plate fin cladding system. The assembly integrates a horizontal hollow structural section and a wide flange column backed by cold-formed metal studs. A three by three by one-quarter inch steel angle and a vertical carrier channel provide primary support, utilizing pin blocks and attachment hooks for panel and fin integration. The aluminum plate fins are back-notched at panel attachments and pin block locations to accommodate the hardware. Alignment dimensions coordinate the top and bottom of the metal panels and fins across the horizontal joint.
