A vertical wire hangs from a one-quarter-inch screw eye installed at the center of a wood member with a minimum of one-and-a-quarter inches of full thread embedment so the wire remains vertical. A diagonal bracing wire attaches using another one-quarter-inch screw eye installed in the direction of the wire. The wood framing consists of a three-by-four, two-by-six, or larger member secured to the overhead structure.
