This exterior wall assembly consists of a horizontal wood rain screen mounted over continuous metal furring and slotted metal clip angles with a one-inch air space. A fluid-applied weather barrier coats the half-inch exterior sheathing, which is backed by structural metal studs filled with batt insulation and an interior vapor barrier. Two inches of rigid insulation are installed between vertical furring over the exterior side of the sheathing. The interior finish is provided as scheduled on the drawings, and overall wall dimensions are referenced from the grid line to the face of the stud.
