This assembly terminates a suspended lay-in ceiling against an existing concrete or furred wall with a fixed end connection. A two-inch shadow wall molding is attached to the wall face using number eight screws at twenty-four inches on center, receiving a pop-riveted ninety-degree T-bar wall angle. A twelve-gauge vertical hanger wire with a minimum of four turns supports the framing, installed at a maximum one-to-six plumb angle. A strut is notched at four feet on center to friction-fit the runner and secured with tie wire. Plywood or gypsum board is provided at the metal stud joist where required by the wall construction.
