A metal stud partition wall finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board on both sides connects to a suspended acoustic ceiling system. The ceiling utilizes metal joists spaced at sixteen inches on center with five-eighths inch Type X gypsum board, secured with three number eight sheet metal screws. R-19 insulation is installed within the wall cavity where required. A suspended acoustic ceiling system abuts the partition on the adjacent side, with ceiling heights determined by the reflected ceiling plan.
