A cable railing extension and guard termination occurs at the top of a stair run at main landings. The assembly anchors adjacent to a floor slab and steel framing condition sealed with a continuous bead of sealant at the joint. Below the landing, metal stud framing supports a painted gypsum board finish at the soffit.
