The intersecting structural members connect via a one-half-inch thick knife plate measuring twenty-six inches by eight inches, detailed with two places. The primary structural member is slotted to receive the plate, matching detail specifications. Five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds secure the connection at the intersection.
