An insulated steel sectional door operates within a three-inch heavy-duty track mounted adjacent to a structural jamb. A three-eighths-inch bent plate jamb guard extends to four feet high and is secured to the wall with half-inch diameter wedge anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The jamb guard is finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel paint. A weather seal is provided all around, and the dead bolt latch is located six inches above the top of the jamb guard.
