An acoustical ceiling suspension system terminates at an unattached wall partition with a hemmed angle molding secured to each stud with number 10 sheet metal screws. A main or cross runner extends to the wall and is supported near the perimeter by a twelve-gauge hanger wire with a minimum of three tight turns in three inches. An optional Armstrong BERC 2 clip, ESR-1308, provides one and one-half inches of total travel capacity at the wall connection. Scheduled ceiling panels complete the interior finish up to the perimeter molding.
