An aluminum reducer threshold provides a smooth transition between carpet and resilient flooring located beneath a door as scheduled. The reducer features a one-to-two slope designed for a half-inch maximum rise to accommodate the height difference between the finishes. Both flooring materials are installed over a concrete substrate.
