A continuous waterproofing membrane is applied over a concrete mud slab and subgrade crushed drain rock, stepping up across an elevation change. The waterproofing system incorporates a waterproof sheet membrane (WPS-01) with a three-inch side lap per the manufacturer's requirements. A layer of geotextile reinforcing sheet is installed over the drainage and subbase preparation.
