Cold-formed steel framing details for a door opening feature double jamb studs, a box header, and cripple framing. Header members and tracks are fastened with number ten self-tapping sheet metal screws spaced twelve inches on center typically. Jamb connections utilize six-inch eighteen-gauge plates on each side with three number ten self-tapping screws. Additional framing includes one-inch by one-and-one-half-inch flange tracks and L two-by-two-by-sixteen-gauge clips with three number ten sheet metal screws on each face. Bottom tracks and bay blocking are detailed to support the wall opening as required per plan.
