A suspended ceiling bracing assembly supported from overhead joists or beams by a hanger. A vertical metal stud, sized per the structural schedule, is stabilized with seismic wires running at forty-five degrees maximum from the horizontal plane at twelve feet on center and four feet maximum from walls. Three full wraps secure the seismic and hanger wires. Twelve-gauge hanger wires are spaced at four feet on center. Main runners and cross runners intersect below, with studs screw-attached to the main runner. One-half-inch metal electrical tubing may be substituted for metal studs when distances are less than five feet. Deviation between centerlines of purlin and runner intersection must not exceed six inches.
