A steel rail of one and one-half inch maximum outside diameter is anchored to the wall using a steel mounting bracket. The assembly fastens into continuous blocking positioned behind the wall surface. The wall type is installed per plan specifications, and the handrail projects three inches from the wall surface with equal one-and-one-half-inch clearances.
