A light pole is supported on a two-foot-diameter concrete base with a one-inch grout layer beneath the base plate and a three-quarter-inch chamfer at the top edge. The base is reinforced with three number-four ties at two inches on center at the top and anchored using one-inch-diameter by thirty-six-inch-long anchor bolts with three-and-a-half-inch-diameter galvanized steel washers, tied to rebar or anchor bolts per manufacturer requirements. The concrete base extends into the ground with a footing depth designated as H, set within finish grade and adjacent to a concrete curb and truck yard or landscape area. Electrical conduit with a minimum two-foot ground cover enters the footing, and structural reinforcing is provided per structural drawings.
