A hollow metal frame is secured to a metal stud header or boxed header with two number six by three-eighth inch sheet metal screws per jamb anchor, utilizing a minimum of three anchors per jamb. The surrounding partition is framed with metal studs and clad with three layers of five-eighth-inch gypsum board on each side, enclosing four inches of batt insulation where specified. A quarter-inch tempered glazing pane is set into the hollow metal frame profile with a typical one-and-one-eighth-inch clearance.
