A continuous L6x4x3/8 structural steel angle long leg vertical is embedded at the edge of the concrete slab to support the stair stringer provided by the stair manufacturer. The angle is anchored with number five galvanized reinforcing dowels at two feet zero inches length spaced at twelve inches on center, with slab reinforcing sized per plan. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures the connection assembly. The concrete slab thickness is sized per plan with a one-and-one-half-inch recess dimension.
