The brace wire fastens to the building structure using a bent clip aligned with the wire at an angle between 10 and 45 degrees. A fastener secures the clip to the structure with a maximum half-inch offset unless otherwise noted. The number 12 gauge wire forms four turns at each end for the connection. The clip bends to match the wire alignment while maintaining specified clearances.
