The threshold sits directly on a gypcrete substrate, with the carpet and carpet pad abutting each side. The total height of the threshold is limited to a maximum of one-half inch. The threshold must be aligned with the center of the closed door where present, and the general contractor is required to confirm the specific threshold size prior to ordering.
