A mechanical equipment curb is supported by a structural steel angle with a continuous bent plate and wood blocking. A pre-formed metal mechanical equipment curb with polyisocyanurate insulation filler is installed over rigid insulation and a metal deck bearing on a structural beam. The assembly is waterproofed using a TPO roof membrane extended up the curb, a flashing membrane, and sheet metal counter flashing secured by continuous wood blocking. Fasteners include number 10 screws at two feet on-center maximum, along with a three-sixteenths fillet weld sized per manufacturer recommendations. A note specifies enhanced securement of the roof membrane as required for wind uplift resistance.
