A continuous track for a folding partition is suspended below a wide-flange steel beam using one-half-inch diameter threaded rod track hangers spaced at four feet on center. Angle braces detailed on structural drawings provide lateral support to the metal stud framing. Batt sound insulation fills the partition cavity between the metal studs, which are finished with painted gypsum board. The folding partition attachment follows the manufacturer specifications.
