A stair landing channel is supported by an L4x4x3/8 structural steel angle anchored to the face of a concrete wall using five-eighths inch by six-inch Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors with a four-inch minimum embedment. A ten-gauge steel plate closure is welded to the channels and angle, with bottom and edge steel plates welded together. A backer rod and sealant joint is provided at the top junction against the concrete wall face.
