The assembly consists of a shaft wall enclosure framing against concrete floor slabs with a J-runner anchored at the slab edge. A shaft liner board is applied to the shaft side of the partition, accompanied by cavity insulation and partitions built as scheduled. Firestopping sealant is applied at the slab-to-wall intersection, with typical edge fire caulking sealing the perimeter joints.
