A precast concrete panel bears on a continuous concrete footing and connects to a cast-in-place concrete slab through a pour strip. The foundation wall is reinforced with number five dowels spaced at thirty-six inches on center across the full width of the panel, omitting four number five dowels at eight inches at each end. A finished grade of asphalt paving or concrete slab is verified with civil drawings. Slab reinforcement is sized per the foundation plan, and the precast panel reinforcement is detailed on sheet SD.3.
