A six-inch shotcrete wall bears on a stepped concrete footing at level P2 with a thirty point four six foot elevation. A double layer of drainage mat is applied against the exterior side of the wall adjacent to the property line, backed by an asphalt impregnated board. A four-inch PVC pipe weephole penetrates the first layer of the drainage mat and is sealed to the inner layer, directing water toward a six-inch drain tile surrounded by drain rock. Crystalline waterstops are specified at all vertical and horizontal construction joints, supplemented by a ten-mil polypropylene vapour barrier under the interior slab.
