Galvanized steel bar grate stair treads rest on galvanized 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch angles attached to each side of the tread. These angles weld to C12 by 20.7 galvanized channel stringers. Galvanized closure panels install beneath the treads to enclose the riser space. The tread layout maintains an 11 inch typical tread depth with a 7 inch maximum riser height. All welded components require galvanizing after fabrication.
