An exterior brick masonry veneer wall turns an outside corner with a continuous layer of rigid insulation and weather-resistant barrier enclosing steel stud framing. Typical brick masonry anchors secure the outer wythe of brick back to the backup wall system. Batt insulation fills the stud cavities behind the interior gypsum board finish.
