A C 12x20.7 channel stringer terminates with a welded end plate and connects to a concrete slab via three-by-three by one-quarter inch by five inch long clip angles welded to the back of the stringer. These clip angles anchor to the concrete slab using three-eighths inch expansion bolts. Twelve gauge metal pans with two inches of concrete fill form the treads and risers, supported by one-quarter by one-quarter inch angle brackets typically welded inside each pan.
