An underground sanitary sewer cleanout connects to a main high-density polyethylene pipe via a high-density polyethylene wye and a forty-five-degree high-density polyethylene bend embedded in a crushed stone bedding. A six-inch cast iron riser pipe extends upward to an adjustable head topped with a threaded cast iron cleanout plug and a medium-duty frame and cover with cast-in lettering. A four-inch minimum twenty-five-hundred psi plain cement concrete collar surrounds the adjustable head, set flush with a zero-inch paved area or one-inch grassy area while grading surface water away from the cleanout. Backfill and bedding installation follows project specifications.
