Interior partition wall construction conditions extend from finish floor to metal deck ceiling. The assembly utilizes steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center with five-eighths inch gypsum board applied to one or both sides. Joints at the metal deck are sealed on both sides to maintain acoustic or fire performance. Sound attenuation blankets are installed within the stud cavity for acoustic separation. Finish floor and ceiling intersection lines establish the vertical extent of the partition.
