This one-hour rated smoke barrier partition follows UL design U419, constructed with steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Both sides are finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board. A sound attenuation blanket fills the stud cavity. Sealant is applied on both sides at the intersection with the steel deck above.
