A metal stud wall supports a five-eighths-inch cementitious backer unit, which receives scheduled tile set in a thinset mortar bed. The tile edge terminates at a three-quarter-inch by three-quarter-inch by one-eighth-inch stainless steel angle with a square edge and a one-eighth-inch thick stainless steel plate. A joint sealant fills the gap between the assembly and the scheduled ceiling, which is coordinated per the reflected ceiling plan.
