The fan coil unit is suspended from the structure above using three-eighths-inch threaded rods secured with typical spring isolators. A strut, washer, and double nut assembly supports the unit underside, with the unit secured directly to the strut. Flexible connectors attach to the supply air and return air ductwork. A secondary drain pan collects moisture, draining via a condensate drain line installed by the plumbing contractor. A cooling coil is located inside the unit alongside a p-trap and union provided by the plumbing contractor.
