Metal stair pans receive a 1-1/2-inch concrete fill reinforced with wire mesh as required, supported by a structural steel framing member. Stair treads are finished with material specified in the finish schedule RT24. The guardrail and handrail assembly consists of a 1-1/2-inch diameter metal pipe top rail, a 1-1/2-inch diameter metal handrail pipe, and a 1-1/2-inch diameter metal bottom rail. Vertical 1-inch diameter pipe pickets are spaced at 4 inches on center typically.
