An exterior thin brick rainscreen wall assembly is supported by cold-formed metal framing. The assembly features an interior layer of gypsum sheathing covered by a fluid-applied vapor permeable air and water barrier. Mineral wool board insulation is secured over the barrier using a thermally broken rainscreen attachment system. Vertical furring channels and brick installation rails receive the exterior thin brick units set with mortar.
