The exterior assembly consists of metal stud framing covered with five-eighths inch Dens-Glass exterior sheathing and a fluid-applied air and water barrier. Continuous expanded polystyrene insulation board is adhered with an adhesive base coat, which is embedded with reinforcing mesh and covered with a finish coat. The vertical expansion joint features WS Flash 9 with flashing primer, wrapped base coat and reinforcing mesh, and a backer rod with sealant.
