This seismic bracing detail connects a scheduled suspended ceiling system to the bottom of the structure above using four diagonal wires at forty-five degrees and one vertical wire. Suspension wires must be a minimum of twelve gauge when spaced at four feet, or ten gauge at five feet. Connections at the main beam and at the structure must be secured with a minimum of three full turns or wraps in three inches.
