An aluminum fence door post is secured with a 3/8-inch by 5-inch by 5-inch embedded base plate centered on the post and aligned with reinforcing U-bars. An aluminum door and cover panel connect to the post assembly via a full mortise hinge, positioned relative to an aluminum composite panel above and a concrete building curb. The top surface of the base plate aligns with the concrete at the door threshold.
