An interior steel stud partition wall assembly is framed with vertical metal studs and horizontal C-channel tracks top and bottom. Horizontal 16-gauge steel backer channels, measuring 8 inches in height, are incorporated into the framing layout at 32 inches and 48 inches above the floor to receive wall-mounted white boards per owner requirements. All backer locations are coordinated in the field. Detail callouts reference sheet A503 for specific connection conditions.
