A temporary concrete washout facility is constructed with straw bales, a ten mil plastic lining, and wood or metal stakes driven two per bale. The basin floor contains optional native material over the plastic lining, with binding wire securing the bales. A separate sign detail specifies a forty-eight by twenty-four inch painted white plywood sign on three by three by eight foot wood posts secured with half-inch lag screws. A staple detail specifies one-eighth inch diameter steel wire bent to two-inch width and four-inch height.
